Everyone wants to feel connected

#INTERGENERATIONALKINDNESS CAMPAIGN

The global economic, social, physical and medical consequences of COVID-19 are covered in the media and widely recognised. But what we sometimes forget to remember is…. The psychological effect on our Seniors. These effects can be difficult to recognise, as they may not present physical symptoms. Social distancing is imperative to minimise the spread of COVID-19 and could have devastating affects, when seeing family is the one thing that brings feelings of comfort, security and love.

Collectively we can bring happiness and comfort to our Seniors who may be struggling with feelings of social isolation or loneliness at a time when they need us the most. If you would like to get creative and get involved in the #intergenerationalkindness campaign, then lets encourage children, classmates, grandchildren and younger brothers/sisters.

All that’s left to do is follow STEPS 1, 2, 3. You will then receive a consent form, to allow us to share your creativity and we will feature your act of kindness across our socials with your permission xx
